Tips to Choose a Perfect Summer Beach Wedding Dress

Choosing a wedding date is a little bit like playing Tetris. Trying to fit together all of the different elements to consider can be a bit tricky, especially with 365 (or more) days to choose from. Winter is romantic but it is also cold in thin wedding dress, why not choose a summer wedding in beach? Sunlight and sea breeze will be the witnesses and blessing of your sweet love. When it comes to summer wedding, beach wedding is the first choice for everyone. Now choose the perfect beach wedding dress for yourself.

Beach Wedding Dress
Beach Wedding

A summer wedding at the beach can make for a beautiful ceremony and a relaxed reception. However, choosing a dress for a beach wedding can be more difficult and important than selecting one for an indoor wedding. Among the things you should consider — the sand, the heat and the wind. Choose a dress that fits your style, but also find a dress that’s appropriate on a beach. Does this Spark an idea?

First of all, set a budget for your dress. Whether your wedding is on a beach or anywhere else, a budget helps narrow the choices.

Secondly, look at wedding magazines to determine what styles you like and which look best on your body.

Thirdly, choose the length of your dress. While long dresses are traditional, remember that your dress will drag through sand that could be dirty or wet. If you prefer the traditional style and don’t mind if the hem gets dirty, choose a long dress. If you want your dress to stay clean — or if you’re looking for a more casual look — consider a tea length or shorter dress.

Last, choose the fabric you want for your dress. Chiffon, crepe or tulle is light fabrics that will both keep you cool and flow in the beach breeze as you walk. Chiffon wedding dresses are good choice.

Prom Hair Style Show

Every girl dreams to be a princess at a prom, here are some tips for you. Not just your dress, but your hairstyle. The right dress and the right makeup are as important as right clothes. A perfect hairstyle will complete your look to the prom. The traditional hairstyle is an updo but you can try other hairstyles that will make you stand apart from others.

For girls who have curls style your hair and cut bangs. Perfectly set hair that is curly will look very stylish. Bangs and curls look adorable on girls who have long and narrow face. Style your curls and make them manageable by using hair styling products. Using these products will fix your curls in place. Smooth and manageable curls with bangs that fall on your forehead will make you look perfect for the prom night ahead.

Smooth your hair into a low ponytail and use a curling iron to curl the ends. Once all the ends are curled, start around the outside of the curls and pin them far out to make the ponytail look more substantial. You can accent the spot where the ponytail is showing by either wrapping a strand of your own hair around it and pinning it underneath or inserting a braided piece of hair and securing with bobby pins underneath the curls. Spray the whole thing with aerosol hairspray and you’re done.

Use medium hot rollers around the whole head and a curling iron to do the bangs. If your hair is longer, pull it up into a side ponytail without stretching out the curls and pin the curls randomly around the ponytail. If your hair is shorter, just pin the curls up and to one side. Spritz with some firm hold shine hairspray to hold it all in place then tuck a few bright exotic flowers in the top or clip in some sparkles. This style is easy and flirty.

This one will take more practice, but will definitely be worth the effort. Start by separating bangs out in front and then the back into two sections ““ top and bottom. Smooth the bottom section in the back into a ponytail straight back from the ears in the center of the head. Next, smooth the top section into a ponytail about two inches above the bottom ponytail. Use a large barrel curling iron to create barrel curls by rolling away from the center of the ponytail. Instead of letting each curl fall free, keep them rolled up. Use bobby pins the color of your hair to secure the rolls underneath. Make sure you overlap them so they stay in place. Don’t make every curl the exact same size. Follow the circular direction of the center of the ponytail to create the bun effect. Overlap the top and bottom ponytails to blend them together. Smooth the bangs using a curling iron or flat iron and pin them back loosely or let pieces hang down ““ however you are comfortable is fine.

How to Bead a Wedding Dress

Born in modern times, there is no need worrying that your wedding could be not romantic or big enough, because of the variety of wedding dresses. Feminine lace wedding dress, princess pick up wedding dress, elegant satin wedding dress“¦However, as more and more wedding dress choices, more and more confused we feel. So why not make some embellishment to dress to make your wedding dress unique and meaningful.

Whether you have made the wedding dress yourself or purchased it, adding beads will give your dress a special touch that makes it unique and beautiful. Sewing beads to a wedding dress adds beauty while saving money.

A wedding dress can cost a lot, but doing the bead work yourself saves a lot of money, while increasing the value of the original. While beading your dress can be quite time-consuming, it is not difficult work, so let’s get started.

Step one  Select a Simple Wedding Dress and Matched Bead

Choose a simple wedding dress and some beads that match or enhance the fabric and lines of the dress. You may want small, white pearls for elegance, cut faux glass or small, clear beads for shine, or small beads in a color that enhances the fabric. For example, if your dress is a pale pink taffeta, you might choose pale pink pearls to blend in or white pearls to draw attention to the lines.

Step Two Beadwork on the bodice enhances the beauty of this dress

Decide where you want to sew beads. Obvious places would be along princess seams to call attention to the elegance of the bodice, around the neckline to create a delicate effect, along the length or width of the sleeve for graceful movement and along the hemline for shimmer.

Step Three  Sewing Beads

Sew beads onto the dress one at a time. This may sound tedious, but if a thread breaks or snags loose on the big day, you will lose only one bead, rather than a whole line or cluster. Thread your needle, knot the thread, and poke it through the fabric, starting from the wrong side. Place the bead on the needle and poke back through the fabric in the opposite direction, from right side to wrong side. Make sure you don’t pull the thread too tightly and pucker the fabric. Knot the thread again from the wrong side of the fabric. If the bead is heavy or the fabric is thin enough to rip, place a drop of glue on the knot.

Step Four  Make Sure the beading is straight

Create a line of beads by sewing the second bead next to the first, lining up the beads so that the tops and sides are consistent. Your line of beads will look much less impressive if they aren’t straight, so take the time to poke the needle carefully along the same line as the previous bead so that the beads are straight.

Step Five Sewing a drop of beads

If your dress comes to a “V” at the neck or waist, sew a drop of several beads to hang from the “V.” Begin as you would to sew on a single bead, but thread three to five beads on instead, knotting the thread after the last bead so that your drop can move freely. You may want to knot in between beads in case the final knot fails. Choosing a bell-shape for your final bead in the drop allows you a place for glue to make the drop more secure after you knot the thread.

Step Six Beaded Lace Adds a Beautiful Touch

Sew beads onto lace for dramatic sparkle, or if you cannot bring yourself to stick a needle through your beautiful fabric. Choose very light beads for lace so you don’t cause the lace to sag.

See, it is not difficulty job, right? So, pick up the needle and bead to start your “masterpiece”. The beading wedding dress would be your wedding more special and meaning and unforgettable.

How to Alter a Prom Dress

Before you get the prom dress from an online shop, I thought you should have intended to alter a prom dress. A well-fitting prom dress is critical for both comfort and looks. Maybe you would have a skilled tailor or dressmaker to alter your prom dress. However, professional dress alterations can be expensive, so why not make many your simple alterations on your one shoulder prom dresses or strapless prom dresses at home with only a needle and thread. If you are skilled with a sewing machine, you may even be able to re-size a prom dress.

What you should prepare

Pins

Needle and thread

Scissors

There are 5step to help you finish the great alteration:

Step 1 Determine any fitting issues

Try on the prom dress with the appropriate bra and shoes. Determine any fitting issues. Is the length right? Does the bust fit? Strapless dresses should fit close from bust to waist, while a dress with straps is designed for a looser fit.

Step 2 Pin

Pin your prom dress to correct the fit. Ideally, the dress should be inside out when you pin it. To alter the bust, pin at the bust darts, rather than the side seams. Even out substantial alterations between seams, when possible.

Step3 Sew

Baste alterations into place. Use a needle and matching thread, or a sewing machine set to a long stitch length. For best results, sew hems by hand. If you remove fabric, stitch over the cut edges with a serger or zig zag stitch to prevent the fabric from fraying.

Try on your prom dress and assess the alterations. Make any necessary adjustments.

Prom Dress

If you are not confident your skill on alteration on your beloved prom dresses, you can first use with those old and useless dresses for practice. Believe that practice makes perfect.
